Rachel has lived and worked within the Armed Forces Community for over 27 years, she is married to Steve, a serving officer in the AAC, they have two children. A strong ally to the LGBT community, as a parent of a young adult with Downs Syndrome she has been strong advocate not only for his needs but for those in the whole Armed Forces community whose voices are not often heard.

Following on from a successful career in the retail, Rachel moved to Germany and gained real life experience in transitioning into military life as a spouse, this was not without its challenges however it has led to a fulfilling and varied career in the military charity sector, most recently at Cobseo, The Confederation of Service Charities.

Her life experiences have compounded with her professional roles giving Rachel an exceptional set
of skills and the drive to support our Naval Community.
