Glen Mason and 5 colleagues cycled 400 miles around the Jurassic Coast taking 4 days and raising over £500 for the Children’s Fund. Wearing our cycling top’s, they also raised awareness for our charity.
This year they will be cycling 1,380 miles from Poole, Dorset to Auschwitz, Poland over 14 days. The Journey will take in part of the ‘Liberation Route Europe’ to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day. This route is an international remembrance trail taking in the poignant sites through England, France, Belgium, Germany, The Czech Republic and Poland, with the ride concluding at the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial museum. This is as far as we are aware, the first time any military personnel have attempted to cycle this route.
