We’re calling on Naval children to depict their favourite month of the year to create our 2023 calendar.
What’s your favourite time of the year? While this summer has tested even the most devoted sun worshippers among us, we know some of you will be sad to see the leaves changing. That said, there’ll be plenty of people out there itching to put on their jumpers as the nights begin to draw in.
Maybe the festivities of Christmas and the New Year give you a fuzzy feeling, or the promises of new life in spring put a pep in your step.
No matter your preference, we believe there’s something positive to be found at any time of the year. That’s why we’re calling on our Naval children to enter a very special competition that will create the 2023 Naval Children’s Charity Calendar!
We want Naval children, up to the age of 16, to send in a landscape A4 sized drawing or painting, celebrating their favourite month, with a little explanation as to why they love that time of year. It could be as realistic or abstract as you like; get creative and let your imaginations run wild!
12 artworks will then be selected for the calendar, and each winning artist will win a magnificent prize, made possible by donations from Micro-Scooters and ScrunchKids.
The final product will be available to purchase on our website, with proceeds helping us fund support of Naval children for the year ahead.
For those of you looking to take part, please see our terms and conditions below. You can send in two pieces of artwork to be considered to the following address:

The competition closes on the 1st November, so pick up your pens, pencils or paint brushes and get to work. Good luck!
